Loved the Sweet Sorento blend – delicious flavour, locally roasted and hand packed by a lovely family-run team. Picked mine up with a coffee to go and got such friendly service. All our best wishes and good luck to this fantastic local business!

Intro: I know how to roast coffee and the flavor profiles of various single origins from throughout the world. I usually drink it black, not adding sweeteners or lighteners. I like my coffee roasted to a full city stage, just before second crack, with no oils coming to the bean surface after cooling and resting.
Pros: Coffee is freshly roasted and has a recent roast date. A few packaged coffees are single-origin. I liked the Cinco Jalisco blend, with at least one or two of its five beans roasted slightly darker, giving it a richer flavor and lower acidity, than the other two I bought, Jaggy Loko and Torero.
The front desk will brew you a sample by espresso method.
Cons: Most coffees are blends and have a high percentage of beans from Brazil. As far as I can tell, most of their coffees are light to medium roast. Even the 'darkest roast' (as described by their staff), Torero, is very light and under-developed, with an overpowering sour acidity. This one is barely drinkable black, and I ended up throwing it out after a few cups.
Thanks so much for taking the time to write such a detailed review. It's always great to hear from someone who really knows their coffee.
We're delighted you enjoyed the freshness of our coffees, and especially the Cinco Jalisco blend. It's great to hear your thoughts on the different roast profiles too.
Sorry that Torero and Jaggy Loko weren't quite what you were looking for. We know everyone has their own preferences when it comes to roast levels, acidity and flavour, and we really appreciate your honest feedback. We'll certainly pass your comments on to our roasting team.
Thanks again for giving our coffees a try. And thanks for the 4 star review!
