I think this place is overrated; it's always been described to me as a place where the food was wow. Unfortunately, I have many things to complain about: 1. The leg and potatoes were truly awful, just think about looking at them; the potatoes were stringy and dry, not to mention goose potatoes. 2. The price... there are other high-end places where you can get a top-notch leg for that price. And don't get me started on the idea that you pay for quality... because yes, you pay, but this didn't seem like quality to me. 3. The plating was truly sad. I honestly expected more. I'd like to see more effort put into the plating, not just the leg and potatoes placed haphazardly. 4. I hope you take action. Thank you, have a good day.

Sara fatto. Dato il linguaggio così forbito, credo proprio che il livello della sua competenza culinaria in fatto di oche, sia senz'altro di livello superiore.
Grazie, provvederemo per quanto di nostra competenza.

Kindness, professionalism, and courtesy from all the staff in a lovely downtown location.
The dishes are delicious and beautifully presented, and the wine selection is also excellent, allowing you to choose the bottle yourself. Definitely a great place in Vigevano, try it.

Overall, all the dishes we ordered were very well executed.

The braised goose ravioli in particular had an excellent filling and were cooked to perfection. The baked potatoes were also practically perfectly cooked, something I rarely find.

The prices are a bit high, but considering the proximity to Piazza Ducale, they're understandable.

This restaurant primarily serves goose-based dishes, as the name suggests.

Definitely recommended!

Excellent outdoor service, but plenty of seating inside too. Very nice. Had lunch for the first time, with truly excellent braised goose ravioli. Congratulations!

My boyfriend and I celebrated the end of our weekend here in Italy with a fantastic dinner at this restaurant.

We shared veal with tuna sauce as an appetizer, followed by tagliatelle with duck ragù and ravioli filled with braised duck and hazelnut cream; the flavors were truly balanced, and the portions were perfect.

The restaurant's atmosphere was perfect, as was the service from the staff.
Thank you all for your thoughtfulness in providing us with this wonderful experience.

A couple's lunch after a short stroll through the streets of Vigevano. The restaurant is elegant and informal. The staff serving us was attentive and friendly. Let's get to what we tasted: we both had an appetizer, a terrine of foie gras with brioche bread and red onion jam. A delicious dish in its simplicity. To follow, a confit goose leg with potatoes and spiced apple puree, and a goose cured meat platter that included cooked and raw goose salami, raw goose ham, and foie gras bread. Choosing this dish might seem like a repeat after the appetizer, but given its variety, it was a pleasant choice. My husband definitely enjoyed the leg. We washed it all down with microfiltered water and a bottle of Barbera, served at the perfect temperature and at a perfectly reasonable price. Two espressos (really well-made) to finish. What more can we say? We'll definitely be back to try other options, as we were truly satisfied with our visit. See you next time. T&F

I stopped for lunch here during my visit to Vigevano, but the experience left me a bit torn. The dishes were good and carefully prepared, but overall the value for money wasn't convincing.

The restaurant is very informal, and the location is unremarkable, although the prices are slightly higher than you might expect from the outside. At this point, I would probably have preferred to eat right in Piazza Ducale.

The service was average. The biggest disappointment was the goose leg: despite being the second most expensive item on the menu (€26), the portion was quite small, and the side dish was also very poor. Considering the price, I would have expected a much more generous dish.

Overall, the food is good, but the location, portions, and value for money didn't entirely convince me.

We arrived at the last minute due to an unexpected event, but were welcomed even though the kitchen was about to shut down.
The service was professional and patient with the children.

The dishes were very tasty.
I recommend trying Grandma Bruna's platter (goose cured meats and pâté).
