This was my first time at this Catalan restaurant for paella, which is indeed good and tasty, but the portions aren't as generous as the price... They have a nice menu. The waiters are all attentive, fast, and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is pleasant, but perhaps there are places where I'd find more satisfaction for less.
Terrible experience, we were treated rudely by the owner. Rudeness.
It's not a given that you'll find such a welcoming place for everyone. We went to Sabor Catalan for a family dinner, with a small child, and we had a wonderful time. The dishes were excellent, from tapas to the legendary paella, with an interesting selection of reinterpretations, but also plenty of classic Spanish and Catalan dishes. The ladies in the dining room were very kind and gave us excellent recommendations. We'll definitely be back!

A truly beautiful and friendly place. We went today with my wife and 5-year-old daughter. The magic show was truly beautiful and entertaining; the magician was one of the best I've ever seen in his ability to entertain such young children.<br>The wait staff was extremely knowledgeable, especially considering my daughter has an egg allergy. They also took great care with the space. I haven't eaten at such large tables in Milan for a long time, precisely with the goal of making guests feel comfortable.

Four of us went to Sabor Catalan, and unfortunately, the experience was decidedly disappointing. The appetizers we ordered while waiting for the paella were decent, although we didn't find the quality-price ratio particularly good.<br><br>The real disappointment was the octopus paella at €22 per person, offered for the octopus evening. After an hour of waiting, we received a paella with just three tiny pieces of octopus between us and some squid. This was frankly unacceptable, especially considering the price. If the octopus was scarce, it would have been more appropriate to warn the customer: we would have chosen the seafood paella, which our friend found to be good and with a decent amount of seafood.<br>We reported the problem to the staff, but when it came time to get the bill, there was no sign of attention, no discount, nor even an apology. In fact, we were even charged €2 for a tiny bowl of alioli that we requested again!<br>The only positive note was our waitress, impeccable in her courtesy, helpfulness, and professionalism, without any responsibility for the quality of the dishes served.<br>The final feeling was that of not being respected as customers. Therefore, we found the overall experience absolutely disappointing.
Buongiorno Alessandra, ci dispiace leggere la sua recensione, in quanto le tapas vengono molto apprezzate dalla clientela. <br>L'attesa in un ristorante di cucina espressa è garanzia che il piatto non sia precotto, non siamo un fast food né una tavola calda, pertanto se la paella si attende è "buon segno" che la stiamo preparando espressamente. <br>In merito alla paella di pulpo, le assicuro che non si tratta di mancanza di materia prima: insieme ai calamari, viene tagliato in piccoli pezzi nel soffritto, e forse è di più difficile individuazione. <br>Sul gusto, che è personale, non discutiamo. <br>I mortai di salsa alioli successivi al primo incluso nel coperto sono a pagamento (come indicato sul menù), pertanto alcuna mancanza di rispetto verso il cliente. <br>Sara - che vi ha serviti - apprezza e ringrazia per il complimento, invitandovi a ritornare per rivalutare l'esperienza. <br>Un saluto

Informal atmosphere.<br>Polite and friendly staff.<br>The various tapas were excellent.<br>The paella was awful, both the flavorless Marinera and the Arroz Negro, which I've eaten several times in Spain and which I often make at home.<br>The only flavor I could taste was that of the squid ink.<br>The rice seemed boiled, and the socarrat was nonexistent.<br>What a shame!!<br>The price paid, in my opinion, was unjustified.<br>I wouldn't return.

A wonderful Catalan restaurant with many authentic offerings. Delicious paellas, without too many frills. A worthy substitute when you're feeling homesick.

The paella was far below expectations, with portions that were not generous. It's nothing like the paella you'd eat in Spain or other Spanish restaurants in Italy.<br>The tapas were good, but the portions were ridiculously small and the prices were high. Sangria was good.<br>The staff was very friendly and helpful.<br>PLEASE NOTE: DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED... SO YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE TO CHOOSE. SPANISH'S FAMOUS PASSION FOR PERROS (Dogs).<br>And for all these reasons... this restaurant is definitely not recommended.

Truly excellent, from the service, which was able to take our order at our noisy table, to the food. And for how much sangria we drank, the price was very fair!!!

I went to Sabor Catalan with some friends and we had a really great time! We started with the tapas: it was hard to choose, so we decided to have a little bit of everything... and it was all delicious!<br><br>Next, we had the paella marinera and the paella mixta: one of the best paellas I've ever had. Really, congratulations!<br><br>The whole experience was made even more special by the incredibly kind and knowledgeable staff, who gave us excellent advice and put up with us throughout the evening 😅.<br><br>A place I wholeheartedly recommend for a wonderful evening with friends and to try excellent Spanish cuisine!

The seafood paella was amazing, with the freshest fish. Dessert was delicious: thin churros with a chocolate dip. We also tried a few mixed appetizers. The Cantabrian anchovies were delicious, served with croutons and butter. The only downside was the long wait for the paella for four people. It took about 20 minutes.
