Surprising! This is the word that best describes my experience at Trattoria Al Monte. From the outside, it's a rustic building like many others, but once you step inside, you're immediately enveloped in a positive atmosphere. The atmosphere is simple yet elegant, with a well-lit first room filled with a festive crowd. The second room, large and dimly lit, is dotted with table lamps, giving it an intimate and secluded feel. A top-quality menu was impeccably served by two quick and cheerful waiters. The dishes were served at just the right pace, so we barely noticed the time passing between courses. There were no surprises with the price either, which was absolutely reasonable. A place to remember, especially when you want to make a great impression on your distinguished guests. I'll be back very soon!

The dishes reflect the authentic flavors of yesteryear, with top-quality ingredients and a touch of craftsmanship that makes all the difference. From the homemade first courses (mouth-watering!) to the tender and flavorful meat main courses, every course was a true triumph for the palate.<br>The Service: The staff is fantastic: smiling, attentive, fast, and always ready to recommend the dish of the day or the best wine pairing. They make you feel right at home right away.<br>Value for Money: Excellent. Generous portions and absolutely fair prices for the quality and attention to detail.<br>It's rare to find places that manage to combine tradition, quality, and top-notch hospitality so well. Oh my goodness, what a nice place! The young and friendly staff, if a little disorganized.<br>The porcini risotto was excellent, but the gnocchi and desserts were a little less so.
Excellent food and service. Prices are in line with the Como area, which remains quite expensive!
I'm sorry to say this, but based on my experience, I don't think it's good value for money. Slow service (about half an hour just to order), decent food, and a very noisy dining room (when we booked, we asked to sit in the garden, but when we arrived, my friend and I were told, "No, sorry, there's no room outside").
Excellent food, beautiful presentation, very friendly staff. It's a shame there's no carafe wine, but the price is ok. Recommended.
Beautiful and good, it's not too expensive. If I had to find any flaws, the pellet stove turned on in September is a bit much, and I would add a little more lighting. But overall, I would recommend it.
