To go home satisfied, I know I have to stop by Gallina che fuma. Today, it was Verzino pasta as an appetizer, tasty ricotta and spinach gnocchi with butter and poppy seeds, spaghetti alla carrettiera, and delicious chocolate salami. My dogs are always welcome, and the staff, now my friends, are incredibly friendly.

Fantastic location... knowledgeable and amazing staff and excellent food. For me, a celiac, it was a godsend... everything was delicious ♥️
We had a wonderful meal! The staff, especially the young lady, was incredibly kind and quickly resolved the issue with our reservation despite the large number of guests that evening. Excellent food, AIC certified, so perfect for celiacs: practically all the dishes were gluten-free or available in a gluten-free version. Generous portions, fair prices, and good food! We'll definitely be back ❤️

Osteria La Gallina Che Fuma is not only a fun, happy atmosphere to enjoy your meal, but one of the best meals you will find in Northern Italy. This hidden gem, run by two amazing sisters, presents a new twist on traditional Italian dishes creating magical flavors and creates new comfort food favorites. You will find fantastic versions of traditional plates and new creations, all made with clean, healthy single sourced ingredients, with as few ingredients as possible. The menu has a few staples, but new items are added every time I visit. Lasagna in Italy is one of my go-to moves and La Gallina presents one of the best, but one of this year’s new dishes, their carbonara, is an absolute dream. You won’t have another carbonara like it ANYWHERE in the world (I’ve had carbonara in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Bern, Prague, Zermat and more). Do yourself, your friends, your family and, most importantly, your tastebuds, a treat and make this a must stop in your travels. (Don’t forget desert, magnifico!) I can’t wait until my visit next year!

A very enjoyable and delicious dinner for 4 last night. The service was prompt and so hospitable. Felt like we were having dinner at a long lost friend's house. We were concerned that the restaurant might be vegan but it's not. They just have some vegan options. But plenty of real steak, chicken and fish to choose some. All very savory. Decent parking but get there close to when they open in the evening to make sure you get a spot.<br>Highly recommend it and we would definitely go there again if in the area
Very good food. The atmosphere is casual yet very professional. The Argentine steak is excellent. The menu always includes a vegan option.
Friendly welcome in a lovely AIC-certified restaurant with most of the menu gluten-free... I was very surprised. They make you feel at home with great warmth. Save room for dessert, which is something everyone deserves.

This was our first experience at this restaurant, which we chose partly for its vegan options. We went for lunch and appreciated the owners' warm welcome and the pleasant atmosphere. Delicious, unique dishes and good wine were served with great attention and kindness. The prices were fair. We'll be happy to return.

It was fantastic. Almost everything on the menu is available gluten-free, even tiramisu for dessert. The service is outstanding. Everything tasted delicious. The staff speaks perfect German and was very, very welcoming. The atmosphere is also great. We were there on the weekend and it was packed with Italian families, so there was quite a bit of noise, but that just makes it more authentic – that's how it is in Italy. They also have a large selection of beers, including gluten-free options. I highly recommend it. Reservations are a good idea.

Nine friends for lunch on a Sunday in September. Excellent veal with tuna sauce, and very tasty baked pumpkin with gorgonzola and almonds. The bread and schiacciata were very good. The portions were generous and well-seasoned.<br>The welcome was informal and friendly!

Great authentic Italian food and atmosphere. My wife has a gluten intolerance and the staff took great care of her. A great variety of gluten free options. Definitely highly recommend!
