Family Lunch
I have to say it's a nice place. They cook with quality ingredients and the dishes are tasty and have interesting combinations.
Excellent for vegans and vegetarians.
The service and location are also very good.
I'm not giving it 5 stars just because it's not my favorite food, but I have to say I had a really good time.
Delicious Middle Eastern cuisine in a beautiful setting.
A great experience for a delicious, tasty, and quick lunch!
Recommended!
Nestled in a small corner near the Duomo, this is the perfect place to enjoy a meal outdoors. This restaurant offers a Middle Eastern menu, excellent food, spiced without being overly overpowering. The brunch platter with a variety of dishes is excellent. Try the Ful Medames (also known as Foul Mudammas), but be warned: the main ingredient is fava beans. Prices are reasonable, everything is well prepared, service is impeccable, and there's blues and soul music playing in the background. Recommended.
I stopped for lunch with two of my friends...in a hurry because we were short on time!!! We were welcomed, given advice on what to eat, and served promptly!! The food was delicious!!
The first time I visited—a dinner—I was very impressed. Returning for lunch confirmed my expectations.
The menu was excellent, with a wide selection. I found the appetizers and dishes we chose delicious, carefully prepared, tasty, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The service was simple and extremely friendly, and the atmosphere was simple yet pleasant, with a choice between inside and outside, offering a quiet spot. On both occasions, I didn't encounter any crowds, so conversation was easy.
I also found the quality/price ratio excellent. Frankly, it seems suitable for both an intimate dinner and a more convivial occasion, or even a business meeting that breaks the mold a bit.
I will definitely be back.
A nice place to eat.
Everything was delicious.
Optimal
beef kebab with pistachios was banging, perfectly seasoned flavourful meat. good hummus and pita too. tried a few different middle eastern restaurants around the centre and this was by far the best one.
Located in the heart of the historic center, just steps from Piazza Loggia, this restaurant also offers outdoor dining in a charming little square. The atmosphere is elegant and refined, made even more welcoming by traditional music. The dishes are simple and traditional, featuring vegetables, legumes, and meat, accompanied by spices, hummus, and cream soups. We ordered a chef's appetizer to share and three main courses: Uzi, a filo pastry case with basmati rice, minced meat, walnuts, almonds, peas, and yogurt sauce; a vegan kabse, made with red rice, carrots, potatoes, peppers, and almonds, accompanied by an Arab salad; and finally, chicken skewers (kafta) with aromatic herbs. The combinations of vegetables, fruit, and legumes are delicate and balanced, while the addition of aromatic herbs and spices creates bursts of intense flavor without ever being overpowering. The portions are generous; we couldn't bring ourselves to order dessert... it'll be an excuse to return! The price is absolutely fair, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!
