Spectacular location and excellent food! Unfortunately, the wine service had a small flaw, which is why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.<br>We ordered a bottle of wine that was brought to us warm. The staff then advised us to leave it on ice for a while to let it reach the right temperature.<br>What I didn't appreciate was that, even though the bottle was still warm, the server still attempted to pour us wine. It would have been more appropriate to inform us right away that the bottle wasn't at the ideal temperature and advise us to choose another bottle from those already chilled and ready to be served.<br>It was probably due to inexperience, but I think a little more attention at this stage would have made the service more professional and the overall experience even better.<br>I must say that the restaurant manager made up for the slip-up very kindly, so she definitely deserves a shout-out. Everything else about the service was excellent. I recommend this restaurant. 🤩🤩
A wonderful evening at Limonaia – Italian hospitality at its finest.<br><br>From the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome and attentive service. The menu, from antipasti to dessert, was superbly composed and accompanied by beautiful wines from their own vineyard. Each course and wine was presented with great knowledge and passion – personal, charming, and never intrusive.<br><br>Our tip: be sure to start with an aperitif at the bar. Here, too, you'll immediately sense a true professional.<br><br>Superb cuisine, wonderful wines, and genuine hospitality. An evening we thoroughly enjoyed – grazie mille!
Beautiful location, refined but not cloying atmosphere, and attentive and helpful yet unobtrusive service. The balsamic tasting menu features egg and cappelletti pasta dishes, which stand out above all else. We had a great time.

We had dinner at this beautiful restaurant on the Tenuta Venturini Baldini estate in Roncolo, nestled in a splendid hillside setting.<br><br>To reach the restaurant, you must enter the estate through a gate, which is opened after ringing the intercom and providing the name of the reservation.<br><br>The setting is truly beautiful: refined, elegant, and with a beautiful view of the surrounding hills, perfect for dinner.<br><br>We chose the tasting menu and were very satisfied: all the dishes were delicious, and the overall experience was truly enjoyable.<br><br>When it came to paying the bill, we also received a €50 discount thanks to TheFork's loyalty program, making the evening even more affordable.<br><br>A place definitely worth a visit, and one we'll gladly return to!
Don’t get me wrong, the food here is absolutely phenomenal. If this review were based on the food alone, it would easily earn five stars.<br><br>However, at this price point, the service needs to match the quality on the plate. Unfortunately, that wasn't our experience. We encountered waiters who were unfamiliar with the menu items they were serving, and staff who promised to address one request with the manager that vanish completely and addressed the request 30 min later. On top of that, having a dog barking inside the dining room every few minutes didn’t work in favor of the fine-dining atmosphere.<br><br>High-end prices require high-end service, and the front-of-house experience fell well short of expectations.
Famous place, carefully prepared dishes, and intense flavors.<br>Too bad, as soon as we arrived, they told us the air conditioning was broken... we couldn't get the table we requested on the veranda with a view, but even in the room where they seated us, the heat was unbearable. They had my number from the online reservation, so it would have been correct to let them know. Full bill and no excuses. I won't be back.

The atmosphere is very refined and charming. Table service is adequate. The food (we're talking about a tasting menu) doesn't live up to expectations. The presentation of the dishes is good, but the menu and the taste are disappointing.

The place is truly beautiful: modern and welcoming, with a priceless view of the valley! You can immediately see that the food is expertly prepared using top-quality ingredients by someone who loves their job and leaves nothing to chance, from the breadsticks to the main courses. A special mention goes to the wait staff, who manage to be friendly and approachable while remaining extremely professional. We'll definitely be back!

A charming place, but it's a shame about the temperature. The air conditioning wasn't working, and the greenhouse effect forced us to leave the table as quickly as possible. Once we reached the register, we realized that the inside dining room was much nicer than the glassed-in veranda. Perhaps they could have invited customers inside, and the experience would have been more pleasant. I'd already been there at Christmas, also on the veranda, and we were very cold. The food was very good. The wine list was a bit pricey for the quality: two glasses of an unpretentious wine cost €30.

There are places you go to eat... and then there are places like this, where you experience an emotion.<br>At La Limonaia, I found much more than just a simple lunch: a sensory journey, meticulously crafted down to the last detail.<br>The creamy risotto (without broth, perfect even for vegans) with bitter orange and mint was indescribable... such a refined and surprising balance that, I say without exaggeration, it brought tears of happiness to my eyes. A dish that speaks, that excites, that lingers.<br>The artichokes accompanied by a Jerusalem artichoke cream were pure harmony: delicate yet full of character, a warm and enveloping embrace.<br>And then another dish that deserves to be described even without a photo: the smoked gurnard fillet with cherry tomatoes and shellfish... tender, flavorful, just the right amount of intensity. A caress of the sea, truly extraordinary.<br>All accompanied by a still white wine from Trentino, perfect, elegant, capable of enhancing every bite.<br>The staff? Sunny, attentive, discreetly present... they make you feel welcomed, pampered, at home.<br>And the location... simply marvelous. A view that invites you to slow down, breathe, and savor every moment.<br>Sincere compliments to the chef and the entire team: you can sense their passion, dedication, and love for what you do.<br>We'll be back, without a doubt. 💛<br>Because some places are unforgettable... you long for them again.
