The best authentic Northern Italian cuisine in Verona: prosciutto variations, fantastic mountain cheeses, and delicious dishes (gnocchi, tortelli, etc.) prepared with exceptional finesse. Have you ever tried artichoke soup? If you're lucky enough to hear it on the daily specials, order it immediately and let yourself unwind!<br><br>Reservations are a must!
Delightful atmosphere, impeccable service, excellent food. Highly recommended are the guinea fowl ravioli, truly incredible!
The food and service were truly impeccable! Everything was delicious, from the bread to the coffee...the decor was beautiful, too. I absolutely recommend it!
We had a reservation for 8:30 pm and they didn't honor it. The excuse they gave is truly unjustifiable.
The last of 7 restaurants we tried in Verona and Lake Garda, and indisputably the best experience. Not the most impactful exterior/location but faultless food, service, atmosphere - and a stellar wine list. All this in a characterful, very Italian space. Lovely all round.

Trattoria al Pompiere came highly recommended to us. We were in Verona for a day trip and reserved a table here for dinner to end the day in a pleasant setting. The food was authentic Italian, excellent, and very good value for money. The service was very friendly and attentive. The ambiance is also top-notch; everything is well-maintained and clean. We're glad we followed the recommendation and will definitely be back.
