We certainly don’t agree with the claim that these are among the best pizzas. In fact, of all the pizzas we’ve eaten in Italy over the years, this was undoubtedly one of the worst.
For example, the pizza with Gorgonzola and Parmesan was surprisingly bland and lacked any real flavour.
Moreover, this is the kind of restaurant that charges you for all sorts of little extras without clearly informing you beforehand. By the end of the meal, these unexpected charges simply add up.
We were charged an extra for replacing eggplant with mushrooms, without being informed beforehand. When I asked for whole-wheat dough, the waiter told me it would cost an additional €1.50, but we were charged €2.40 instead.
On top of that, we were charged €4.50 for tap water. We understand that charging for water is common in Italy, but €2 had been our average experience in Italy.
We are more than happy to pay for a good meal, but additional charges should be clearly communicated in advance so that customers can make informed choices about what they are willing to pay for.
Tasty food and lots of options (starters, main course, dessert, pizza). However, it's a bit pricey for the small portion sizes.
I went with my team for brunch. I've never seen such a variety of food and drinks! Everything was truly delicious. I highly recommend it!
After our tough lunch experience at Waldschenke, we were hoping this place would be better. We had stopped by earlier around 3:30 PM hoping to order some takeaway, but the kitchen was closed. The waitress kindly explained that we could come back at 5:00 PM when they open for pizza, or at 6:00 PM when the full menu is available.

We arrived just before 6:00 PM in the light rain and managed to park right in front of the restaurant. We were greeted immediately and seated at a table. You could instantly feel the atmosphere—it was leaps and bounds above the place where we had lunch. The menu looked excellent, so we ordered our dinner and drinks. The food was fantastic, the waitstaff was attentive, and everything was so good that we even ordered dessert.

As a bonus, the bathroom was super clean and well-maintained. On my way back from the bathroom, I really enjoyed taking in the decor—it has a touch of elegance, while the open kitchen with its pizza oven adds a lovely rustic feel.
Super friendly, highly professional service
Delicious local cuisine
Excellent service, stylish ambiance (WOW, the countertop sink in the guest WC!), superb food with reasonably priced Aperol. We'll be back!!!
Probably the best brunch I've ever had...everything was top-quality, no exceptions!
Very good pizzas and a pleasant, quiet atmosphere.
We went at 2-3 pm and the kitchen was closed. They opened and closed the shutters in the middle of the day for no reason. Got no menu. The food was mediocre at best (i got the tiramisu and it wasnt great). The personnel did not want us there and it was obvious.
Excellent dinner, just the right portions and helpful, knowledgeable staff.
Beautiful restaurant with lovely views. Delicious drinks & food with locally sourced ingredients. Highly recommend.
There's not much to say. Everything was top-notch! The food, service, and atmosphere are outstanding. Whether for ice cream and coffee at lunchtime or dinner. Highly recommended.
