Quaint.
Thank you for the nice evening! I think it was the only open restaurant open on a Monday night in early October. They were very welcoming and the food (cold cut platter, meat, seafood) was delicious. They also offered to prepare something vegetarian that was not on the menu (the fresh local pasta with vegetable sauce was extremely good). Although we were quite full already, we could not resist to try the refreshing lemon cake and for sure we did not regret it. Also enjoyed the bottle of red wine. We can definitely recommend to check it out.
Stunning place, wonderful service and friendliness, divine food, five well-deserved stars.
It took 1 hour and 40 minutes for the food to arrive.<br>Unbelievable, considering the generally good service in other places in Rocca. El Ferrocarril is by far the best option.
An elegant and charming place. The cuisine is excellent, from the sourcing of ingredients to the execution of the dishes.

Visiting the village in a particular street for the steps and the position of Palazzo Pucci, the small rooms are particular, we ate outside with a cover, everything was genuine, mixed starters, no seafood. Good, good prices, few people but the service was kind and the owner was good, the
Excellent. We hade the pizza. Local focus with local products and local wine. Very friendly staff. Located smack in the center of the truly amazing old paese of Rocca Imperiale.
I arrived too early however, the staff were very accomondating and allowed me to stay and for awhile I had the whole resaurant to myself. I was sat in the cave like area which was very atmospheric, clean and the decor was suitable with the music helping with the whole experience. The staff were wearing smiling faces and looked happy to be of service!<br>I orded a carafe of house wine which was very welcoming after the soaking I got finding my AirBnB.<br>The choice of meal was a hot one after travelling from Lamezia airort eating cold foods from bars, so I decided on the Mixed meat grill with a salad all cooked fresh apart from the salad lol.<br>The local lemon cheescake was the best ever I have tasted in all my 72 years on the planet, drunk down with a local limoncello perfectto.
The location is beautiful, but what about the appetizers? We had a seafood appetizer, which wasn't very generous, and a house appetizer with a slice of each cured meat and some vegetables. Both were out of proportion for the price.
We had dinner and then lunch the next day, everything was perfect. Thank you so much for the service, hospitality, and very good food.
