A Wonderful Stay and an Unforgettable Dining Experience in Ostuni<br><br>During our stay in Ostuni, we had the pleasure of discovering two wonderful places that made our visit truly special.<br><br>Astuni Palace Hotel is a very comfortable hotel, ideally located just a short distance from the centre of Ostuni. It is a lovely place to relax and an excellent base from which to explore this beautiful town.<br><br>On a chilly October evening, after dinner at Passaporto, right in the heart of Ostuni, we were left with a wonderful impression. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel extremely welcome by Theresa, whose warm hospitality made the evening even more enjoyable.<br><br>Passaporto is a stunning restaurant serving incredible, distinctive dishes that are full of flavour and character. The baked potatoes with cheese and truffle are an absolute must-try, while the paccheri with veal Bolognese are simply to die for! And then there are Nonna’s meatballs, a true speciality of the house, prepared with secret ingredients that make them something really special.<br><br>Both places are well worth discovering: Astuni Palace Hotel for its comfort and convenient location, and Passaporto for its exceptional food and warm, welcoming atmosphere.<br><br>A must-visit if you find yourself in Ostuni!
Located about a 15-minute walk from the historic center, this hotel is very comfortable with well-appointed rooms. It has a slightly old-fashioned feel (bathtub/shower), but the restaurant is very spacious and boasts a grand decor. The food is excellent. A bar opposite the reception and, most importantly, a private garage make this hotel a welcoming place. The staff provides good service. I highly recommend it! 👍
We stayed at the Ostuni Palace and had a wonderful time. We particularly appreciated the kindness and attentiveness of the staff, who allowed us to check into our room before our scheduled check-in time. The complimentary welcome coffee was also very welcome, a simple but appreciated gesture that made us feel immediately welcomed.<br>The breakfast was excellent, as was the bar service, always pleasant. We also appreciated the impeccable cleanliness of the rooms and the spa, ideal for a moment of relaxation.<br>Overall, a truly pleasant stay, characterized by care, comfort, and attention to detail. Highly recommended, we would gladly return!

Excellent dishes, beautiful location, in the center of Ostuni
We really enjoyed our stay at Ostuni Palace Hotel Ristorante & Spa. The location was fantastic, with beautiful views of Ostuni right outside the hotel and only about a 10-minute walk to the historic centre.<br><br>Our room was very clean and spacious, and the bathroom was surprisingly large, which was a nice bonus. The hotel itself is beautiful and well maintained, and breakfast was very good with a great selection.<br><br>Another big plus was the free parking, which made having a car in Ostuni so much easier. Breakfast and parking being included made the stay even better value.<br><br>We didn’t get a chance to try the spa during our stay, but it’s a nice option to have on-site. Overall, a beautiful hotel in a great location for exploring Ostuni.
We had booked a table for dinner. When making the reservation, we clearly specified that we wanted a table on the terrace and that we were bringing our dog. In the afternoon, there was a downpour, but by 7 pm, all the terraces in town were already set up.<br>The restaurant chose not to set up the terrace. Inside, we were refused entry with the dog. They offered us a table between the reception and the bar, right in front of the hotel entrance in the lobby—in the middle of a busy area.<br>We explained that our goal wasn't to eat; we were there to have a good time, not to be fed in such poor conditions.<br>If the restaurant had chosen not to set up the terrace, they could have had the professionalism to call us to cancel the reservation.<br>We had to leave and find another table on a Sunday evening. The restaurant's professional name didn't stop there:<br>Subsequently, the restaurant had the audacity to report a no-show to the booking platform.

The price isn't right for what you get. I found the breakfast poor; eggs cooked to order cost extra. The bed is two single beds pushed together, and the air conditioning can't be controlled from the room.<br><br>The staff is friendly.

We had a delightful dinner with top notch service outdoors on their patio. A fresh mixed salad was served after a bread tasting of 5 different breads with their local olive oil. We had their house red primotivo - all good. A wonderful experience. We scheduled spa service tomorrow and if they aren’t exceptional, I will be back to amend! The staff is very professional and friendly. A fantastic experience to say the least.
