Delicious cocktails, great atmosphere, and the food always tastes very good.

We were there during the middle week of August. Every year, it's a must-visit place to enjoy something refreshing and in good company. Unfortunately, my partner was the victim of an unpleasant incident. After pouring her drink into a glass, she brought her mouth close to sip from the straw and noticed with great difficulty that she couldn't drink because something was blocking the flow of the drink. Look, gentlemen, inside the straw was a large cigarette butt. Without any fanfare, we reported the incident to the waitress while my partner nearly threw up. Instead of getting up and leaving everything uneaten on the table, the five of us stayed there trying to enjoy a moment of "relaxation." They may have even given us a discount at the end of the evening, but after an incident like that, which was very serious for me, I expected at least an apology from the staff and/or the owner, who instead continued serving the various tables as if nothing had happened. I don't think I'll be returning.
We waited an hour for a sandwich that wasn't bad at all, but the wait was embarrassing. (The waitresses ignore you.)
What a great place! I’ve been back several times now, and I’ll definitely keep coming back. The cocktails are always great, and the food is just as much of a reason to go — the vibe is fantastic, the cocktails are top quality, and the food never disappoints. Super friendly staff who make you feel right at home. A great spot to check out in San Nicola Arcella!

Lovely place in a lovely garden, the sandwich was not bad at all, both the service and the atmosphere were very pleasant.
We visited Donero's in San Nicola Arcella with my wife and daughter and were truly satisfied. The place is very well-kept and welcoming, with a beautiful outdoor area and a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere.<br>We ate very well: tasty burgers, quality ingredients, and truly excellent potatoes. You can sense the care taken in the preparation and the attention to detail.<br>A special thanks to the blonde woman who served us, always smiling, helpful, and extremely kind. Her courtesy helped make the evening even more enjoyable.<br>A place we happily recommend and will definitely return to. Congratulations to all the staff!
Very welcoming place, great music, and an atmosphere I really liked.<br>Unfortunately, three of us waited an hour for our order, even though the place wasn't busy. When we asked about the wait, we were told we'd only ordered 20 minutes earlier, even though I had evidence to prove otherwise.<br>In the end, we weren't even offered a small discount or a gesture of kindness for the inconvenience.<br>That said, the food was truly excellent, and all the ingredients were fresh. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat well, but keep in mind that the wait can be very long.
This place is exactly how I imagine Calabria. No fuss, but with the kindness typical of the region. The food is delicious (pasta with local sausage and wild mushrooms) and complemented by a distinctive local red wine chosen by the waiter. The price is a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere is complemented by soothing music.
I have been to this place and I entered with great enthusiasm but unfortunately I had not booked even though the place was half empty, a kind girl who then forgot that we were there in the most remote of places, that is under the toilet window and I was in the plant... A horrible experience not recommended
The place and the music are great.<br>The staff is friendly, even if they sometimes seem distracted.<br>I came two days in a row: the first day I had a burger platter, good, nothing special, but still okay. The next day I had salmon (which I saw the night before, and it was nice and plentiful and inviting). Unfortunately, my order was terrible: a €16 platter that was practically empty. I stuffed myself with fries because I didn't eat anything.<br>The sandwiches and fries are good, at least the ones I tried, or at least average for a vacation spot, but the prices are really excessive and in my opinion they're absolutely not worth it.
A disappointing experience. There were seven of us, and after ordering seven drinks, we were only served five taralli, which were like appetizers that made you want to throw up. We weren't expecting a buffet, but at least something adequate.<br>Furthermore, the table service was rude and unwelcoming, making us feel like we were in the way.<br>It's a shame, because the location has potential, but the reception and service management leave much to be desired.<br>We won't be returning.<br>€14 cover charge
We arrived at this paradise nestled in the small San Nicola neighborhood, sipped fantastic cocktails, and nibbled on some delicious homemade chips. We'll definitely be back.<br>Thanks to the staff.
A fantastic sandwich shop, located in the heart of San Nicola, nestled amidst lush terraced gardens. This well-kept and popular spot offers delicious Calabrian sandwiches paired with excellent craft beer. Highly recommended for a chilled evening with friends and good music.
