Thieves!!
I stopped by for a ginseng and a bottle of water and they charged you €5.
You're ashamed!
The food was good, but there were no prices displayed and no menu available. Tourist trap.

We paid €45 for a sandwich, a pasta dish, two bottles of water, and a coffee.

The waiters try to lure you in by calling your name from a distance.
Before a recent change (within the last month), the place wasn't/no longer listed on Google Maps.
A fan, a panini, and two Cokes for €21. A bit pricey. 😅
We had two small iced coffees and one small iced coffee. It cost us €20. Ask about the prices before ordering!!
Unfortunately, we made the mistake of not asking about the prices beforehand – they weren't displayed anywhere. We also had to wait a very long time for service. We were initially charged €20 for two 0.33-liter beers. Only after I inquired was the amount reduced to €12. The items on the bill were incomprehensible. Overall, it seems like a rip-off to me.
The classic tourist trap that ruins Italy's image. No prices displayed (creative strategy, I imagine). Two takeaway coffees + a day-old sandwich: €15.
Not an Italian tradition, but a tradition of ripping off tourists.
Italy deserves better. Tourists too.
Tourist rip-off.

We were "ambushed" after our Vesuvius excursion. They tried to sell us pizza, which wasn't on the menu. Tired and hungry, we made the mistake of not asking the price. The pizzas were okay, but by far the worst we've had in Italy – and the most expensive. We paid €62 for two Cokes, two Sprites, and three pizzas (one of which was a Margherita). A tip and cover charge of €10-15 were apparently added automatically – but this wasn't shown on the bill. I didn't feel like arguing about it, so I just paid. The service was friendly at times, but then the next moment they were completely ignoring us – a rather strange experience. You can definitely skip this place...
Perfect place!
As soon as we arrived in Pompeii, we found ourselves in front of this family-run bar at Piazza Immacolata 5. One of the owners kindly invited us in, with a very expansive manner. We had breakfast with a cappuccino/coffee with sfogliatelle, which in my opinion weren't even very good. After visiting the archaeological park, we always met in front of the "Ristorante Il Posticino" restaurant, and the owners always tried to get us to sit at a table. There were 8 of us, and I politely asked for the menu, which was NOT given to me, saying that he would tell me the menu verbally. THERE WAS NO PRICE LIST POSTED, THERE WERE NO PRICES ANYWHERE... At 4 pm we decided to order some platters to put in the center, a beer, a coccola, a shared pizza, and 2 cocktails. While we were nibbling on the items listed above, they brought us some fried shrimp (they said it was fried fish) and started saying, "THEY WERE MAKING IT, WE'LL LET YOU TASTE IT TOO, WE'LL OFFER IT TO YOU, WE'RE PLEASED!"
First of all, NO ONE asked for this fried food!!! We asked for the bill, and in the end, the receipt wasn't just for the combined amount... there were no individual items. We asked for an explanation and were told that even the fried food had been paid for without anyone having asked for it!!!
The quality, as far as I'm concerned, is VERY POOR: pizza cooked in the electric oven is rubbery... the shrimp are rubbery and tasteless!
I WILL DEFINITELY NOT GOING BACK 😉
It's just a tourist trap.
Terrible place. In a hurry, we chose to eat at this restaurant because it's located right in front of the entrance to the Pompeii archaeological park, and I admit we should have expected this level of service. We sat down to satisfy our hunger and ordered four appetizers (a pittance, at that), a pizza (which I believe was frozen), three Cokes, and a Spritz. Total bill was €130 because they charged us for fried fish that we didn't order, as they told us it was on the house. They didn't want to show you the menu or tell you the prices. Highly not recommended.
Went to grab some Sandwiches for Pompeij, got some very expensive loaves of bread with one slice of ham and cheese. Ask how much it costs!
Very expensive place, aimed to scam tourists
The owner smiled and invited us in for ice cream, encouraging us, and we agreed. He didn't tell us how much it cost, even though we asked. We received large portions—even though we hadn't ordered them. The ice cream itself was delicious, but the bill wasn't quite as good—20 euros.
Beware! Tourist rip-off!!!

Our mistake: we didn't ask about the price beforehand. Instead of freshly squeezed orange juice, I got a small glass of diluted lemon juice (green oranges from Mount Vesuvius?) for €5. Reheated toast cost €14, and then they added another €8 to the bill.

What a shame!
Came as part of a tour. Asked for a mixed salad and got a plate of plain lettuce. Husband’s gnocchi appeared to be tinned. If we wanted pizza it was a 45 minute wait. My seat was in an ants’ nest. All in all pretty dreadful.
The food was great and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
We were practically forced to come; it's a tourist trap. The food is decent, the price is high, BUT we were given expired olive oil, and their excuse was that the bottle and the oil inside weren't the same.
