Excellent dinner and a magical location! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐<br>Locanda dell'Arco was a wonderful discovery. The dinner was superb, with exquisite dishes from start to finish. The setting is well-kept, beautiful, and charming, perfect for unwinding. The prices are very fair for the quality of the food and the setting. Five stars well deserved!

Locanda dell’Arco is a truly beautiful and unique place, whose setting would lend itself perfectly to a special occasion dinner. Unfortunately, however, our experience didn't live up to our expectations.<br><br>Upon entering, we found a little girl lounging on a sofa/armchair watching television, and we initially felt like we were entering a home environment rather than a restaurant, which somewhat detracted from the atmosphere we were expecting. The music also didn't quite fit the mood.<br><br>The food also left us somewhat disappointed: the appetizer was good and the pasta sauce adequate, but the pasta was unfortunately very overcooked. The meat, however, was our favorite course.<br><br>We expected a higher overall quality. We came to celebrate our anniversary, and we're sorry we didn't find the atmosphere and experience we imagined.<br><br>A real shame, because the beauty and uniqueness of the place would have all the makings of a perfect setting for special occasions. I hope these observations can be useful for improvement, because the place really has great potential.
Beautiful restaurant with two choices.<br>Cave Room: The interior is carved into the rock, creating a very intimate, evocative, and romantic atmosphere.<br>Panoramic Terrace: Outside, there's a space offering a splendid view of the hills and the Irpinia landscape.<br>Eat the Cannazze al ragù: The signature dish is the traditional ziti lunga (long pasta) topped with the typical Calitrana ragù, often served in the characteristic spasedda (a sort of bread). We waited 40 minutes for our food, which was very slow, but the Sponz Festival had just finished, so perhaps they were tired.

Overall, the food was good. Unfortunately, the atmosphere didn't make you feel at home. The hospitality was 0 stars.
Beautiful location...the view of the valley is breathtaking...local cuisine Wow...What can I say...WOW
The place is very nice inside, but there's a lot going on outside, from the tables to the chairs instead of a wooden one... A bit of everything. Friendly and kind people, I expected something more from the menu. Cannazze has good sauce but almost no cheese, the braciola is tasteless, the cut of meat is tender. Value for money: NI.
Honestly, disappointing. The place wasn't bad, but in my experience, the ceiling was low and poorly ventilated. As for the menu, we arrived as a group of 10 people. The appetizer was meager; we asked for sperlonga in the center, but in reality, they were average dishes served in the center. The portions weren't enough for everyone. Then came the first courses, the cannazze, a large dish for two, and medium dishes to be shared by 4-5. A few mini samples of ravioli, followed by a few lamb dishes, a steak, a sausage. A small portion of salad, some fried vegetables, "a taste," a few coffees, an amaro, and two sorbets. All this for almost €500.00. For what we ate, it was too much. I had higher expectations for the menu, but it was disappointing.

The place is fairly easy to get to, the stairs down are a bit uncomfortable, but still very beautiful both outside and inside. The staff is friendly, the girl was clearly more knowledgeable, the appetizer was very good, baked potatoes, and grilled caciocavallo, the aubergines were less amazing, too oily for me, the first course was good, but too much of it was a bit out of place. I took the cavatelli with ragù, but for them the ragù is different from ours, as I expected meat but in reality it was just the sauce, which was still well done.
If there's no room inside, avoid going inside. It's hot outside, it's a busy place, and it's noisy and annoying if there are children or smokers, as I did. The prices are moderate, the food is good, the appetizer portions are small, but desserts could be improved.
Mi dispiace del disagio ma vi è stato comunicato che c’era solo posto esterno e se vuoi attribuire il fastidio che possono dare i bambini DEVI e mi dispiace dirtelo rimane a casa lo capirai quando sarai tu genitore grazie comunque
We had lunch at this restaurant. They seated us outside because the inside (the most charming area of the restaurant) was occupied by a confirmation ceremony. The outside area is a corridor under a portico with a wooden plank floor. This detail is important because at the next table were two families with five children who did nothing but scream and run back and forth throughout the meal, causing the floor and our table to wobble. We tried to urge the wait staff to ask the parents to supervise their children out of respect for everyone, but they didn't intervene at all. The food was decent, with small portions.

We ate lunch in the outside corridor due to lack of indoor tables. Due to the presence of two tables with many children, we ate amidst screaming and running around, pacing back and forth for no reason. Even though we asked the waiter to make parents aware of this, the situation remained unchanged. The food was good, but the cheese appetizer only had three slices, divided in two, and the two main courses ordered together arrived quite a while apart.
Generalmente non commento questo tipo di recensione ma lo devo fare per tutelare i bambini e visto che non possiamo mettere loro il bavaglio non posso far altro che chiedere scusa <br><br>
