As soon as we sat down, the owner forcefully confronted my niece because she was turning the table lamp on and off. Oh well, then the appetizer was exceptional, but not the main course: cod with cruschi peppers, nothing special, simple, large pieces and full of bones. However, the original recipe would also call for pepper powder to enhance the flavor, otherwise it would be nauseating. Not to mention a few foreign objects on the plate. The ravioli were excellent, but personally, I don't like the combination of chickpea cream and tomato sauce. The house rosé wine, by the glass, was really good and went well with the dishes. As for the service, aside from the owner, the waiters were a bit annoyed with our special requests (gluten intolerance). The pairings are well-executed; the appetizers lack a bit of punch to highlight the main ingredient. The cod ravioli are excellent, somewhat neutral in flavor; I'd recommend pairing them with Ferrandina black olives for added contrast. The fried cod is excellent, and the cod stew with crusco peppers is also good, though a few more bones are needed. The wine cellar could be enhanced with a good wine list. It was truly delicious. The dishes, from appetizers to first and second courses, paired beautifully and delicately with this fish. Excellent value for money. The place is small, but very elegant and not crowded. The service was impeccable, fast, and attentive. It's best to book well in advance because it's very popular.
