A typical summer restaurant, with its limitations. Average quality food. The only positive note is the attentive and helpful staff. Prices are decidedly high; I only ordered fries and a first course. Respect.
Optimal!
Dinner by the sea with your feet in the sand (very nice). The fish wasn't all fresh, probably pre-cooked. Very standard service.
First, they sat us down without a hint of a smile, as if we were doing them an injustice. The bread had probably been there since day one, the mussels 'pepata' were mostly empty shells, and the remaining ones were no bigger than clams. The highlight came at the cashier when, after reporting the problem with the mussels, we were told that they had already received several complaints about them, but that unfortunately they've been getting them like this for a while now and there's nothing they can do about it. We expected at least a slight discount.
Very nice place, the food is good! The staff is very kind and helpful!
Really bad
We stopped for a drink after dinner. The staff were unqualified. We asked for a mojito, but they couldn't make it for us because they didn't have ginger beer (which isn't a mojito ingredient). They then got our order wrong anyway. What they brought left a lot to be desired: a non-alcoholic drink called Virgin Black, which was simply a small bottle of chinotto with ice and a gin-lemon (after we'd asked for a gin and tonic). The gin reached half the glass (undrinkable).
Let me start by saying we stopped for BREAKFAST, and I'm only judging that. The sticky bar counter was so bad I leaned on it to look at the croissants, part of which was covered in cups that needed washing. The croissants were practically gone before 10am. We have to consider that it's Sunday, August 18th, and it's a beach resort on the Porto Recanati seafront, so it's still high season. My partner had a coffee and a pistachio croissant; it honestly didn't look very inviting. I had a coffee and a slice of orange cream cake. The portion was maybe 1cm dry as soon as it was made, inedible, so I left it; they offered us glasses of water, the only thing about the service that was okay. The cost was €4.70, and the lady rang up the change, but we can't find the receipt. I understand it's a beach resort, but the location requires more attentive service. I would have also happily spent much more since we had a sea view. The breakfast service was beyond disappointing.
Service to be completely reviewed.
Terrible service, we waited 50 minutes just to order. The disorganized staff and the wait aren't worth the food.
Tagliolini stuck together and cold, the fish they were served with was tough and tasteless; the waiters don't even know their names! I ate them because I was hungry, but afterward I naturally lost the desire to order anything else! If you get the first one wrong, you're gone for me! Change the chef.
Let's start with the sore point: the food. The quality was truly poor, both hot and cold. The complete antipasto was to be avoided; the mussels and clams were unsavory, and the cuttlefish with peas were clearly reheated several times. The cold dishes were even worse, straight from the fridge and prepared hours earlier. The ravioli were a little better, although they were overly flavorful and I don't think they even tasted like a bisque. The place is nice, the service good. I definitely won't be returning. The price was high for the quality of the food; for €90, I ate MUCH better for two.
Unfortunately, our experience at this seaside restaurant was very disappointing. We ordered pasta with tomato sauce, which was served overcooked. We asked for it to be remade, but when it was brought back, it was still overcooked, just like the first time. The tagliatelle with ragù was also overcooked, but this time we didn't send it back.

We also ordered two glasses of Verdicchio wine, but the serving size was ridiculous, about 0.10 cl each. We also ordered a portion of French fries, some baked vegetables, and two coffees. The whole thing cost us €50, a decidedly excessive price for the quality and quantity of the food.

I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good culinary experience.
And in my opinion, the chef should go back to his old ways.
Fantastic seafood lunch! I tried the grilled fish, excellent! And shared some fresh pasta. The place is wonderful, right on the sea. We'll definitely be back.
Not good
I really liked the idea of dining on the beach, but during dinner I was deeply dissatisfied with the food and service.
The mussels were very salty and the skewers tasted burnt, zero value for money. My advice regarding service would be to pay more attention to customers, especially when they have to wait 40 minutes between dishes.
Beautiful beach... breakfast, lunch, dinner, and aperitifs both inside and outside... very friendly staff, and the owner is always available to meet your every need... the kitchen offers a few dishes, but they're all very good, especially the ravioli...
Fantastic location, I had a wonderful time eating by the sea, excellent lunch and service, I would say that I highly recommend this place 🤝🏼
