How lovely... excellent quality food, divinely cooked... mixed fried fish and octopus with potatoes, and a delicious cheesecake similar to pudding.<br>The Uruguayan owner is very friendly and sociable.<br>Prices are in line with the food, and the atmosphere is very informal and relaxing.

Not having considered that it was Saturday and August, it was recommended to us as a last resort to avoid going to sleep on an empty stomach. The staff was young but competent.
A pleasant discovery! A charming spot in the woods, all the dishes are delicious and offer a wide selection, made with quality, local ingredients. The staff are amazing, cheerful, and professional. I felt like I was among friends; they are warmhearted people and put it into everything they do. Thank you so much!
We ordered fried cod, mixed fried fish, and mozzarella sticks, and paid €45 for three appetizers. It's a bit high for the quality, and everything isn't top-notch and a bit bland. There are no vegetarian options, even after asking. The service is definitely fast and okay, but not very helpful. The location is definitely beautiful; there was even a live band, which is great, but bring mosquito repellent.

There's plenty of space for guests, and conveniently, card payments are accepted without any problems.<br><br>Food<br>The food is fantastic! They serve very tasty and unusual burgers – definitely not the standard fare you find everywhere else. The menu offers both meat and fish options. The price-performance ratio is perfect: We had two burgers for about €10 each, a portion of fries for €3, and soft drinks for around €3.<br><br>Location<br>The ambiance is wonderfully cozy, especially in the evenings when the fairy lights are on. There's a great view of the neighboring town all the way down to the sea. Small events are held here regularly in the summer, creating a great atmosphere. The location, slightly outside the town center, is ideal: It's popular, but never too crowded. A major plus (especially for families) is the large playground right next door, as well as the sports facilities just a few meters away.<br><br>Special<br>A huge compliment to the owner! He's incredibly friendly, attentively checks in to make sure everything is alright, and even offered us a small drink after we paid. A great insider tip: They have special non-alcoholic drinks that aren't on the menu – just ask! The whole atmosphere is extremely welcoming and cozy. A brilliant and thoughtful touch: If bees come to the table, they immediately provide candles and coffee grounds to gently keep them away.<br><br>Conclusion<br>In short, an absolute recommendation and always worth a visit! Whether you just want to relax with a drink or are really hungry, Il Chiosco nel Bosco is a truly wonderful place to be. We'll gladly return anytime and will definitely never forget this place. It's become a tradition every summer! Eating outdoors, in the cool of a forest, just a few kilometers from the sea is always a pleasant experience. The fish sandwiches are excellent and plentiful. My favorites are the ones with octopus and shrimp. But if you're craving a mixed seafood fry, order it—you won't regret it!

Discovered thanks to a tip, this kiosk in the woods is perfect for a quality, no-frills dinner at a reasonable price. Its proximity to the woods also makes it a great place to beat the heat on summer evenings. We stopped here on a short trip and dined on two fried appetizers, a meat sandwich (Hora) and a fish sandwich (Bacca). The Hora sandwich was juicy, with fresh meat and perfect pairings. The Bacca sandwich featured crispy breaded cod with just a few added ingredients, allowing the cod to truly shine. On the waitress's recommendation, we ordered a cheese flan with a liquid caramel reminiscent of ricotta with honey. It was delicious and highly recommended. With two soft drinks and a water, we paid €40. The outdoor space is quiet, with soft lights, perfect for chatting and dining in peace. The menu also features reasonably priced local wines.<br>Ample parking is 200 meters away, a short walk past the entrance to the woods, and a large children's play area. Super friendly staff.<br>August 2026. Highly recommended.
