Excellent food, super fair prices, a lovely town, and a very friendly (and talented) chef, with whom I even had the pleasure of chatting. An international experience and super hospitable. Highly recommended. You'll feel right at home.
Delicious food and a truly welcoming atmosphere. A hub of local community life at any time, it offers helpful service, kindness, and excellent local products. Special mention for the gluten-free options. The chef prepared excellent dishes for celiacs with care, skill, and professionalism. Everything was delicious, even the local wines. The karaoke evening with the whole village was a lot of fun.
Great place in a small town where life is simple. Fabulous beer.
Fantastic evening, great food and karaoke
Osteria Magna e Viv' is a true gem in the heart of Roccasicura, in the Alto Molise region. Each dish exudes the chef's care, passion, and attention to detail, showcasing ingredients enhanced with a creativity that makes each course special. The menu is constantly evolving, reflecting seasonality and the inspiration of the chef's expert hands: every visit is a pleasant discovery.
The sandwiches? Amazing! They're all worth trying.
The atmosphere is authentic and welcoming, and the hospitality makes you feel instantly at home. Thanks to the highway, it's very close to Isernia and, without a doubt, deserves much more than many restaurants in the city.
If you're craving authenticity, originality, and authentic flavors, this is a must-visit. But above all, if you want to delight your taste buds, head to Osteria Magna e Viv': you won't regret it!
The bill was steep, and extremely out of proportion to what we ate. What a shame.
A mixed antipasto for two, a pasta dish with tomato sauce, and a grilled chicken breast—average flavors. The bill was a shame: €60. It was outrageously expensive for what we ate.
Good quality food, good service, friendly staff. We recommend it.
Great place for dinner in town!
We went to this little restaurant on a friend's recommendation. It was a great experience: the staff was superb. Everyone, from the bartender to the chef, is there to make you feel at home and at ease. We ate wonderfully: delicious crostini, exquisite taccozze with chickpeas and pancetta, a spectacular panini, and a roast scamorza cheese that would have awakened the dead. Grandma's apple pie, finally, completed the traditional image, perfectly in keeping with the setting. Kudos to you for working every day to keep this little Molise gem alive.
See you soon! 🤗
Nice plate of appetizers, including the classic cheese and egg balls, battered cod, etc., to which we later added
the tripe, which was very welcome.
Sagnette pasta and chickpeas for the first course,
apple pie and complimentary limoncello.
I'd say everything was OK.
Staying for one night at a B&B in this small, charming village in Molise, we stopped one evening for dinner. Excellent food...delicious platters of cured meats and cheeses. Impeccable service. We spent an average of €25 per person, but the food was plentiful and divine.
Exceptional food with fresh, top-quality ingredients, knowledgeable and welcoming staff, and a wide selection of wines, located in the small village of Roccasicura. We felt pampered in every way.
Everything was great 👍
