OPTIMAL
Excellent trattoria, very good dishes.<br>Traditional but not banal. Refined cuisine.<br>Quality ingredients, fresh produce!<br>The pizza is among the best in the city.<br>They also offer arrosticini.<br>The restaurant is welcoming, very beautiful, and quite large, with two dining areas.<br>It has plenty of outdoor seating, covered and open year-round.<br>This is not a given in the historic center.<br>Parking is easy to find near Fontana Luminosa, Viale Gran Sasso, and Via Castello.<br>Open for both lunch and dinner every day.<br><br>Excellent experience, I recommend it!!

Do not eat at this restaurant. Terrible food, the absolute worst pizza that I had in Italy. I didn't even eat it which I've never done. The pizza is very doughy and completely uncooked. Always watch your bill.. they charged us 6 euro each for pizza that was 5.5 euro on the menu. They charge a 3 euro service fee and never disclosed it until I asked for the bill. They also charged us for water (tap water by the glass). I avoid at all cost.

We happened upon lunch here while visiting L'Aquila. We ordered a red pizza for the child and three excellent burgers cooked differently, with a side of fresh, light caponata. We had a great time, excellent value for money.
The food is excellent, the place is cozy and the people are super kind!!! We will be back soon
