AWFUL experience.<br>We waited 50 minutes for the first course and ANOTHER 50 minutes for the second course. 1 hour and 40 minutes for two courses, unacceptable.<br>The dishes were disgusting, flavorless, poorly plated, and arrived half cold. It looked like reheated food.<br>The worst was the sliced beef: it had very little beef, the meat was stringy and of questionable quality, and the portion was RIDICULOUS. Literally 4 slices for a very high price. A joke.<br>The quality/price ratio was nonexistent. Slow and disorganized service. We will never return and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Salve,<br> ci dispiace che la sua esperienza non sia stata all’altezza delle aspettative, ma ci teniamo a fare alcune precisazioni.<br><br>Come specificato nel nostro menù, soprattutto la domenica e nei giorni festivi, i tempi di attesa possono essere più lunghi, poiché la nostra cucina prepara tutto espresso. Questo richiede pazienza, ma è una scelta precisa legata al nostro modo di lavorare.<br><br>Selezioniamo con attenzione materie prime di alta qualità e ci sorprende leggere che i piatti fossero freddi o sembrassero riscaldati, considerato che vengono preparati al momento. Quanto alla tagliata, la porzione è di 300 grammi e il prezzo è chiaramente indicato sul menù: riteniamo quindi che giudicarla dal numero di fettine sia poco rappresentativo della quantità effettiva.<br><br>Rispettiamo ogni opinione, ma crediamo sia giusto distinguere il gusto personale da affermazioni che non rispecchiano il nostro metodo di lavoro. Gentile Michelina, ci dispiace per la sua valutazione. Nella recensione, però, non viene indicato né il giorno della visita né quale sia stato il problema riscontrato. È normale che, soprattutto il sabato, possano esserci tempi di attesa più lunghi, ma una recensione così generica non ci permette di capire cosa sia accaduto.
Antica Fontana proves to be an excellent choice, where quality remains the cornerstone of the experience. The pizzas are simply excellent, the result of expert craftsmanship. The dining room exudes an impeccable atmosphere: the staff demonstrates courtesy and constant attention, while the owners' management—vigilant yet commendably discreet—ensures that everything runs smoothly without ever being intrusive. The only room for improvement lies in the wait times, which are longer during peak times. A small flaw in the timing that doesn't detract from the essence of a successful evening. Highly recommended.
€20.00 for a pizza! After mediocre service...

We return often, and the quality continues to improve, unlike usual. Everything is delicious, from the pasta dishes to the meats, and above all, the ingredients are top-quality. If you want to try one of the last true Roman pizzas (a dying out genre), come here—the pizza is exceptional!

A fantastic dinner in a cozy, charming place with a lovely atmosphere. Both the pasta and pizzas were absolutely delicious, full of flavor and perfectly prepared.<br><br>The service was quick and excellent, with very attentive and friendly staff throughout. Definitely a place to return to and enjoy a great dinner in a special setting.

Highly recommended! The food is good, but the real difference is made by the hosts: friendly, helpful, and always attentive to their customers. You can tell they're passionate about what they do and manage to create a truly pleasant atmosphere. I'll gladly return.

We were given a table right away, and that's the only positive thing. We waited 20 minutes for water and 30 minutes for our order. The pizza arrived 40 minutes after we ordered. Unfortunately, the lack of staff had a negative impact. It's a shame... I remembered a completely different kind of place and welcome.

Comprendiamo che l’attesa possa sembrare lunga, ma il sabato sera, soprattutto negli orari di maggiore affluenza, è normale che i tempi siano più lunghi.<br>La nostra scelta è quella di lavorare tutto espresso, senza preparazioni anticipate, privilegiando qualità e artigianalità. Ogni pizza viene preparata al momento e cotta nel forno a legna, che consente la cottura di sole 6 pizze per volta: una lavorazione più lenta, ma che ci permette di mantenere cura e attenzione su ogni prodotto servito.<br>Per noi uscire a cena non significa soltanto mangiare velocemente, ma vivere con calma un momento di convivialità e godersi la serata.<br>Saremo comunque felici di accoglierla durante la settimana, quando il servizio è più immediato e rilassato.<br>
I ate at this restaurant and was truly satisfied. I had pasta all'amatriciana and it was excellent, definitely one of the best I've ever eaten.<br><br>Compliments to the kitchen and all the staff for their attention and care. Recommended.
