We stopped by Petralia Sottana by chance, and while looking for a place to enjoy local products, we chose the castle. It's a truly enchanting place, with quick service and truly delicious food. The waiters are very kind and helpful. The food is truly delicious and the prices are reasonable. We'll definitely be back.<br>See you next time.

I had a wonderful meal! Simple dishes, made with locally sourced ingredients, but prepared with truly special care and deliciousness. It's precisely in the simplicity of the ingredients that I found the quality and flavor.<br><br>I'd definitely love to return. The service also deserves a special mention: the staff is down-to-earth, friendly, helpful, and always attentive to the customer's needs.<br><br>A place where you eat well and immediately feel at ease. Congratulations!
A well-maintained hotel, immersed in the historic center of the town. Excellent breakfast. The visible and illuminated spring water collection basin is very interesting.
We ate very well, everything was good and the food was plentiful. The pizza was super.
I really don't like leaving bad reviews, but I truly felt that the customer wasn't being treated with respect.<br><br>I had specified in the reservation two months prior that I wanted a suite with a view; when you come to the Madonie, that's the bare minimum, I think.<br><br>Having received no response on this matter, I decided to cancel a month before arrival. On the phone, the manager refused and told us that €100 would be charged.<br><br>We decided to come anyway, hoping to find a room with a view, as requested twice: once when booking and again on the phone.<br><br>The lack of consideration for the customer was confirmed. Upon arrival, we were given a bottle of tap water at room temperature (it was 45 degrees Celsius that day).<br><br>And a suite with no view!<br><br>I should add that the photos are misleading. The room decor is outdated, the mattress is hard, and you can clearly hear the neighbors closing their doors in the hallway. I really do not recommend this hotel and especially never book directly, you have no recourse.
Ci dispiace leggere questa recensione, soprattutto perché omette alcuni fatti importanti che riteniamo doveroso chiarire.<br><br>Innanzitutto, la prenotazione effettuata era per due camere, non per una sola. La signora ha successivamente deciso di cancellarne una e, nonostante le condizioni della prenotazione prevedessero una penale, abbiamo comunque mantenuto una camera a sua disposizione e non abbiamo applicato alcuna penale per la seconda camera cancellata. Ci sembra quindi piuttosto singolare parlare di mancanza di considerazione del cliente senza menzionare questo aspetto.<br><br>Per quanto riguarda la “vista”, la camera assegnata disponeva di cortile esterno e vista parziale sulle montagne. La nostra struttura si trova nel centro storico di un piccolo paese delle Madonie: non siamo una struttura panoramica immersa nella natura e non abbiamo mai presentato le camere come dotate tutte di vista panoramica sulle montagne. Le fotografie pubblicate sono reali e corrispondono agli ambienti della struttura.<br><br>Anche definire le fotografie “trompeuses” ci sembra ingiustificato: le immagini mostrano esattamente le camere, gli arredi e gli spazi che gli ospiti trovano al loro arrivo.<br><br>Quanto alla definizione di “décoration vieillotte”, rispettiamo naturalmente il gusto personale di ogni ospite. Tuttavia, parlare semplicemente di arredamento “vecchio” significa travisare completamente una scelta stilistica precisa: le nostre camere sono caratterizzate da mobili artigianali in legno massello, realizzati nello stile tradizionale siciliano, e da pavimenti in cotto, elementi scelti proprio per mantenere l’identità storica e siciliana della struttura. Può non piacere a tutti, ma è ben diverso dal dire che le immagini siano ingannevoli o che gli arredi siano trascurati.<br><br>Per quanto riguarda il resto, una bottiglia d’acqua a temperatura ambiente in una giornata particolarmente calda, un materasso percepito come troppo rigido o il rumore delle porte nel corridoio possono certamente essere oggetto di critica e li rispettiamo come valutazioni personali.<br><br>Ciò che non riteniamo corretto è costruire, sulla base di queste considerazioni soggettive, un’immagine della struttura che non corrisponde alla realtà, omettendo al contempo che abbiamo rinunciato ad applicare la penale relativa alla seconda camera cancellata.<br><br>Le critiche sono sempre ben accette, ma riteniamo importante che una recensione sia completa e rappresenti i fatti con correttezza.
