Great service and good coffee
Huge disappointment. We went here based on the reviews (I would be interested to know what the reviewers below me used to eat) tired after a whole day in Reggio and we parked next to it. We were craving pasta because we had already eaten pizzas, pinos and other pasta. I had a rubbery octopus appetizer, my husband had carpaccio with mango cut into quite thick slices, so chewy. I had homemade pasta with yellow pepper pesto, almonds and matou rest, my husband had macaroni with pistachio pesto and pieces of swordfish. Everything was absolutely lacking in flavor, the chef shouldn't have combined so much. We were really hungry, so salt and pepper saved it a bit. The presentation was quite ok, it surpassed the flavors. The only great thing was the waiter, who was very helpful, accommodating and spoke English. €3 surcharge per person automatically on the bill (I didn't notice it was stated on the ticket) for a table without a tablecloth..??
What a lovely discovery! Intrigued by the warm and welcoming atmosphere we could see from the windows, we dined at this restaurant inside the Continental Hotel. The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the decor was truly tasteful!
Beautiful dishes prepared with high quality local ingredients. The beans & bacon minestra soup was delicious, the chopped lemons in the insalatone pepita d'oro were a revelation and the Calabrian wine excellent. Clean & stylish look inside this business hotel. Genuine, honest & welcoming.
The dishes are meticulously crafted, both in presentation and flavor. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, with original pairings and perfect portions. Next time I'll try the pinsa; judging by the other diners' comments, they looked truly exquisite. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and their synchronicity is impeccable.
We ate here during our 10 night stay at hotel Continental 5 times. The stuff is just very friendly and the drinks and Food was delicious. We are vegans and it's not always easy to find a place to eat in Calabria - but at Bocconissimo the cook always found a way to veganize a dish for us. We were very thankful for that.
This restaurant is near the port of Reggio Calabria, adjacent to the Continental Hotel. The menu offers a wide selection of delicious pinsas, as well as dishes inspired by local cuisine. The quality is top-notch and the presentation is excellent. The restaurant is very clean and welcoming. But the real difference is Domenico and Toni, who combine great professionalism with a warm, friendly atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Thank you.
The pinsa is good, well-filled. The prices are slightly higher than average. The place is small, with just a few tables; from the outside it looks more elegant, but inside it's simply charming. It's an excellent option for lunch or dinner, especially if you're departing or arriving at the port of Reggio Calabria, as it's right at the entrance to the port, serving as the Continental Hotel restaurant. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Fantastic, delicious, and lovely. The insalata di polpo was amazing, the risotto was delicious, the focaccia was excellent, and the pinsa was a must-try 👍🙂. Best regards to the entire team 🌞😎. A lovely time and a delicious Ciro Librandi white wine.
I've been coming here for almost 20 years. Yesterday I had the most glorious food at Bocconissimo. A beans, bacon and nduja soup. E food for the gods. Congratulations to the chef.
Comfortable place, excellent service, quality food... we were treated very well and above all a detail that is not seen often: the detailed descriptions on the menu... I will definitely return and recommend it to everyone

"Bocconissimo" is the restaurant attached to the Hotel Continental, and hotel guests can enjoy breakfast included in their room rate.<br>It's an excellent restaurant with quality products and a wide selection of grappas.<br>The staff is friendly and helpful.
Excellent value for money. The antipasti and pizzas are very good. The servers speak Italian, French, and English and are simply wonderful. I had a great time with my mother. I highly recommend it.
Restaurant inside the Continental Hotel, just steps from the port of Reggio Calabria. Excellent location, quiet and outside the city center, yet just a five-minute walk from the city center along the bike/pedestrian path that runs along the seafront. Fresh, high-quality, seasonal produce, superbly prepared. Quick and professional service. Small restaurant, not many tables, modern decor.
