We did a cooking class at this beautiful location and it was first class! It was a 3 hour treat and the chef and family were so very friendly and our food turned out great, thanks to them.... highly rate the experience!
Great service.
We booked the pizza-making class at Vista Mare in Giardini Naxos for three adults and our 6-year-old. The session started with a hands-on lesson and demonstration, and afterwards we sat down to eat the pizzas we had made ourselves.<br>The class was very instructive. Our teacher, who appeared to be the restaurant's hostess, clearly knew her craft and shared plenty of practical tips on dough and technique that I'll be using at home. She was warm and friendly throughout and paid special attention to our child, who was fully involved and loved every minute.<br>The restaurant itself is pleasant and well run, with a relaxed atmosphere and attentive service.<br>Highly recommended if you want to pick up some real pizza-making tricks, and children are very welcome.
The food was good and somewhat cheaper compared to other restaurants nearby. The waitstaff rarely came to our table and seemed a bit overwhelmed.
The pizzas were really amazing! The basilicum pizza was one of my favorite pizza in sicily :)! The pizza of my partner (some calzone filled with burrata) was also very delicious! The staff was friendly and the service was good (expect sometimes you had to wait that someone's comes, but i just raised my hand and a staff came immediately). There were not many people dining there so the atmosphere was really chill and quite.<br><br>I would definitely recommend the pizza there!
The food was beyond amazing. It was fresh and had a lot of flavor. The staff is also very nice and welcoming and the prices were okay. Overall i would recommend coming here. Best food we ate during our stay.

A very welcoming and comfortable restaurant. With a modern, beachy design. An incredible view of the sea and just meters from the beach.<br><br>The food was quite good, a very large portion, and great value for money.<br><br>The service was also very friendly, helpful, and fast.
Food was ok not great , service was a bit slow and all over the place, dishes did not come at the same time no coordination! The lady was nice.. the view is nice.
We came late to have dinner at this place, and we regret we did, first of all the long waiting for two dishes of pasta (50 minutes), which they turned to be so average and not tasty, but what’s more irritating was the arrogance and unprofessional behavior of one of their waitresses who was talking down to us just because we were asking why our order took so long, we didn’t feel respected or welcomed at all. I highly discourage you to come to this place save your time save your money and go somewhere else
The four of us thoroughly enjoyed Simona's 'Pizza Baking' workshop, where she explained to us with great passion and enthusiasm how they make and bake pizzas in their restaurant. It was great fun to do, and afterwards we were able to top a base ourselves with all kinds of delicious vegetables, including salami for us. Delicious! Highly recommended! Drinks are included in the price.
We were the very first guests that evening and received a very warm welcome. The food took a little longer than expected, but it was absolutely delicious. We were given a complimentary snack to start with because they knew the oven needed to heat up.<br><br>It wasn't busy, but the food was incredibly tasty.<br><br>We'd love to come back!
Lovely restaurant by the sea. We had the fried anchovies (highly recommended, perfectly juicy 12/10) and for pasta vongole and swordfish with fennel, both also very good. The service was very friendly and attentive.
Sorry... we came to Vista Mare for dinner after reading the various reviews, which were quite good. We ordered the Vista Mare Antipasto, and I then ordered Penne Crema Di Pistacchio Pomodorini E Gocce di Stracciatella; unfortunately, I was very ill that night and the next day with severe intestinal problems. I would like to bring this to the attention of the staff, as fish, in particular, is a very delicate product... What a shame.
