Excellent food
Eugenio is great. Authentic food, even more so a person.
We ordered cutlets with potatoes, and I have to say they were excellent. The staff were very friendly, and the quality/price ratio was right. The place was basic but clean.
Excellent food and very reasonably priced. Not much seating inside, but enjoyed a great meal.
Top products, the arancini are one of the best I've ever tasted in a rotisserie.
If you want to eat home-made food, you know where to go
If you're in Caltagirone and want authentic, informal food while spending little, then try Il Pollo d'Oro!!! A takeaway deli with the option of dine-in. It has just two tables set against the wall, seating 8+8. They don't serve food on plates, but on the takeaway trays themselves. I can guarantee the authenticity of the food... Enjoy your meal!
