A lovely place in the center of Lampedusa. They offer a variety of options, including gluten-free options, for both pizza and pasta. Excellent value.

The food is excellent. The service is a bit slow. The prices are medium to high. I'll definitely be back.

We booked on The Fork with a 20% discount, and thank goodness for that! When we got the bill, we didn't even get the discount, and thank goodness I mentioned it!
The prices are high for the quality. We had a "cabusa" appetizer, which was quite good, and an octopus and potatoes. Unfortunately, the octopus was grilled and tasted burnt.
Then we had strozzapreti with swordfish, which wasn't exciting, and tuna tataki, which was quite good.
To finish, a deconstructed cannoli, which was good.
Total €110

We had mussels with pepper and spaghetti with clams. Both dishes were a bit bland, but mostly full of oil.
The pizza with Parma ham was good.
The bread was delicious.

I dined at this restaurant with my girlfriend on September 9, 2009.
For our appetizer, we shared fried calamari, beautifully browned.
For our first course, I opted for tagliolini pasta with squid ink, sea urchin, and red shrimp tartare, while my girlfriend chose busiata pasta with pistachio pesto, shrimp bisque, and red shrimp.
For dessert, we decided to try something different, such as
a lemon-flavored tartlet with flambéed meringue, and a mille-feuille with custard and salted caramel.
Different flavors that I'd recommend trying if you want to break the mold of "cassata or cannolo."
The service was quick, but some aspects could be improved.

Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience, especially considering the quality-price ratio.
We ordered two peppered mussels with tomato sauce, specifying that we wanted them with tomato sauce. Instead, we received essentially sautéed mussels, a completely different dish from what we had ordered.
Aside from that, the mussels were really poorly prepared: many of the shells were dirty, with debris and even small mollusks attached to the outside. Seeing a dish presented in such condition is definitely not pleasant. Several mussels were also half-closed, and some were damaged and squashed on one side or the other.
We also ordered three oysters, paying €20, but unfortunately, these didn't convince us at all. The smell alone made it clear that they didn't seem particularly fresh, and the taste wasn't the best either. Considering that the "fresh fish of the day" included oysters, shrimp, scampi, and more, we definitely expected higher quality.
The service also left a lot to be desired. We asked for a slice of lemon, which never arrived. They brought us wine, but didn't leave us a placemat to dry it, even though there were some on the table.
The only positive note was the ladies who served us, who were kind and helpful.
We expected much more, especially from a seafood restaurant. We definitely won't be returning.
I strongly advise against it.

Dinner in the middle of August with outdoor seating at Cambusa, a restaurant and pizzeria just steps from the island's center.
The fish dishes we ordered were delicious, all paired with a good wine. The fennel seed bread was special.
Service was average despite the restaurant being fully booked.
Acceptable value for money.

Excellent seafood restaurant. We tried several dishes during our vacation, having been there three times. Everything was very good; well-prepared dishes and attention to detail.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
I highly recommend it.

Unfortunately, the mussels weren't great; many were small and empty, lacking flavor. However, I have to say the tartare and tataki were good.
