> To be avoided with caution.\<br\>Lunch with friends to celebrate my first 60th birthday. The meal begins unquestionably at 1:15 PM.\<br\>We start off on the wrong foot. Given the name of the reservation, the waitress, a friendly and courteous young woman, is about to show us to a nice table on the outdoor balcony overlooking the sea, when the owner intervenes, blatantly changing the previously arranged table number (read with our own eyes, table number 3) and demotes us like children of a lesser god to a table set back with two diners back to back, enjoying the view. Perhaps she wanted to leave the best table for a friend or acquaintance. Anyway, back to lunch, we started with a sampling of three tiny appetizers with artless and almost tasteless combinations, a quarter of an hour of waiting filled with a basket of bread (nothing special, just a simple michetta bread sliced ​​into thin slices),\<br\>followed by a non-local frozen prawn covered in a poorly made, indecipherable sauce, a 15-minute break and a basket of bread, a tiny tuna tartare (maybe 20 grams) not bad but accompanied by a terrible purple sauce that didn't quite fit (why bother with such alchemy, eh?), and a very fresh raw scampi of remarkable quality, followed by another 15-minute break and bread. At this point, it's 3:15 PM, two hours have passed, and the bread is the best and most filling thing that has arrived on the table. After another good 15 minutes, a portion of short pasta, Sardinian-style gnocchetti with a seafood flavor, arrived. It was decent, but the portion was paltry (maybe, just maybe, 50 grams per person), which led one to think it would be accompanied by a second first course. A pious illusion. After another 20 minutes, dessert arrived: a slice of simple sponge cake covered with caramel cream. I found it delicious, perhaps the best dish of the meal, I don't know whether because of its genuine goodness or the immense hunger that was gripping me at that point.\<br\>I politely asked if there was another small portion of dessert, and the owner just as politely replied no, citing that the kitchen was closed (I can believe it; after three and a half hours of agony, the cooks must have committed suicide). I paid the bill in cash, €200, but the receipt never arrived.\<br\>If you need to go to Sennori, there's another reputable restaurant a few steps away; go there.

> A fantastic dinner! It's not the first time I've had the pleasure of dining here, but like every time, they've improved!! Sublime food, excellent wine, and something that's really not a given these days...spectacular service. The owner is very welcoming and kind, and up to this point it seems like the least, but when you have that from the staff too, it's the best. The waitress was the icing on the cake. Highly recommended.

> Il Girasole is one of those places that reconnects you with evenings out. Yesterday I had a truly enjoyable dinner: excellent dishes, fresh ingredients carefully prepared, flavors full but never overpowering. The wine was also top-notch, carefully chosen and served to perfection. The service? Punctual, friendly, attentive without being intrusive. The price is reasonable, especially considering the overall quality. And then the view... breathtaking. That panorama that makes you slow down, breathe easier, and savor the moment.

When you return to the same place often, you risk finding a drop in quality, but here, consistency is the real strength.
