Il Falco: A Lunch That Will Make You Feel Good<br><br>A pleasant lunch at Il Falco restaurant, where the cuisine delivers on its promises.<br><br>We started with an appetizer of cured meats, stracchino cheese, and sgabei: three simple dishes, but precisely for this reason, they were just right. The sgabei, warm and fragrant, are a true pleasure to share with friends.<br><br>The tagliatelle with mushrooms were excellent, with well-made pasta and a sauce with an authentic and bold flavor, the dish I remember most fondly.<br><br>The mixed grill is the only complaint: the selection of cuts is a bit sparse and could have deserved a few more options. On the other hand, the cooking was perfect and the meat was tasty, so in the end, we readily forgive ourselves.

A truly terrible experience and a very rude welcome<br><br>We really wanted to eat here during our vacation. Even though it was very dark and foggy, we still made the effort to get to the restaurant because it clearly showed up open on Google Maps.<br><br>When we arrived, we were truly surprised by the way we were greeted. A gentleman yelled at us, asking us very rudely what we were doing there. We calmly explained that we wanted to eat and that Google showed the restaurant was open. In an angry and arrogant tone, he replied that they were closed.<br><br>Of course, a restaurant can be closed even if the hours on Google aren't up to date. But the way we were treated was truly unacceptable. We were simply two tourists politely asking if it was possible to eat.<br><br>After driving here specifically, in the dark and in very thick fog, being greeted this way was extremely disappointing.<br><br>Hospitality doesn't cost anything. Unfortunately, we didn't see any of it here. For us, it's definitely not worth repeating.
We had dinner there on Saturday evening with an enchanting view.... the food was truly excellent and generously portioned, the location beautiful, and the staff truly kind and helpful.<br>.... we'll definitely be back!
If you're looking for authentic, well-prepared food, it's highly recommended.<br>From the first courses to the second courses, including the excellent and light pizza, everything reminds you of "Sunday at grandma's," for those who've been lucky enough.<br>The desserts round out the experience.<br>Ample parking and games for the little ones make the place suitable for families and groups of friends.<br>Definitely book for the weekend.
Bad experience! We went based on reviews and out of curiosity. There were three of us.<br>We arrived on time and found the table set for two. After 10 minutes, we ordered sgabei with cold cuts and pizzas, seeing what was being brought to the other tables. Six sgabei and a tray of cold cuts arrived immediately, barely enough for two. Regarding the pizzas, I had to point out that after 45 minutes they still hadn't arrived, while the other tables around were being served regularly, even by the owner, who was chatting with the others at the table. So the pizzas arrived, or rather, small, burnt sheets of pizza with little topping. A disappointment!<br>When it came time to get the bill, we didn't complain, but we weren't even given an explanation or an apology for the delay and the poor quality and quantity of food.<br>While waiting, we had the impression that they were treating regular customers differently, one more favorably and one less than adequately for occasional customers, as we also observed at other tables of foreign diners.

Enjoyable home-style cuisine (sgabei, ravioli, rosticciana, tagliata). Good value.<br>I don't like the lack of a printed menu because it doesn't give customers time to consider their choices.<br>Our table wasn't under the beautiful oak trees but in front of the porch, so it wasn't very cool and very close to the rabbit enclosure. We also sat on uncomfortable benches.<br>The biggest problem, however, was the slow service. Not because of the two poor waitresses, who were actually rushing around like crazy, but because there were too few of them for all those tables. During high season, the owners should hire a few more.
We went to Ristorante Al Falco for dinner and had a pleasant evening. Unfortunately, only the pizza menu was available that evening, but it was still an excellent choice.<br><br>I had a pizza with salmon and fresh cherry tomatoes, which was truly delicious, well-topped, and tasty. The other pizzas were also well-prepared and everyone was satisfied.<br><br>The staff was very friendly and helpful, contributing to the even more pleasant atmosphere. Another plus is the convenient parking lot right next to the restaurant, which makes getting there very convenient.<br><br>Overall, it was a great experience and a place I recommend to anyone in the area!
Last night, August 7, 2026, we tried Andrea's pizza at Al Falco restaurant. I must say, it's truly excellent. My brother-in-law Fabrizio, a pizza chef for over twenty years, also confirmed this.<br>The service was fast and friendly despite the restaurant being packed.<br>Compliments to all the staff.<br>Recommended restaurant. 👍
