Sunday lunch with my wife today. Everything was truly excellent: pumpkin flan with Zola fondue, parmesan risotto with Bra sausage (made to order, among other things), ravioli del plin with rabbit ragù, Ligurian-style rabbit with baked potatoes, and excellent homemade desserts.
Excellent village tavern, simple yet delicious dishes, and a charming atmosphere, especially in the gazebo in the square. Friendly and helpful staff. Definitely a must-visit if you're in the area. Highly recommended.
The food is very good and you can taste the quality, but the portions are small. A €16 plate of mezze maniche took me two minutes to eat, as if we were in a Michelin-starred restaurant.<br>The €20 tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, more mushrooms than tagliatelle, also took four forkfuls. If you want to eat properly and not on diet portions, I don't recommend going there.

New management, excellent food, a dream summer location, and a peaceful setting. Stunning.

Good food, I recommend the Pigato wine from the Berona company which is at km 0. The only flaw is that in summer you eat upstairs, in front of the sacristy outside the restaurant, which is also a very cool and pleasant place, but if you have to go to the bathroom you have to go down the stairs and cross the street... the service is excellent and friendly... but I don't think I'll go back.
Compared to similar restaurants in the area, it's not outstanding. The eggplant as a second course is a joke. The mascarpone turned out to be an ice cream bar. The AI-generated cover music is downright annoying.

We returned to try the new management of Hellis and Alice at Osteria Paolomaria. It was a pleasant surprise to find the same welcoming atmosphere upon entry and the attentive and kind way they serve you without ever being intrusive. Little touches were greatly appreciated, like a small appetizer to share while waiting for our dishes and the unexpected warm focaccia served with the main course...very well done. Delicious and perfectly executed dishes...<br>We ordered all the off-menu items, which were truly delicious. Three dessert choices...we tried two of the three, and both were very good. Very well done.<br>We will definitely return in the evening to dine in the square.
