. In a dingy back street in a poor area, with ambulances parked outside. The door had to be unlocked from the inside to let us in.<br>• Setting: decor unchanged since the 1970s; dirty, old-fashioned and soulless. Only five tables, and only two others occupied all evening.<br>• Service: we sat at a bare table (not even cutlery) for 40 minutes with only glasses of water, without being given menus, despite there being almost no one else to serve. Every course after that was slow.<br>•Food: the menu itself was very poor. The octopus was so overcooked that we could not cut it even with steak knives; it was like rubber and clearly not fresh. We had to stop eating the fish because it was off. Nothing tasted fresh.<br>•We are shocked we did not get food poisoning, and all of us have had bad stomachs today.<br>•Cost: still around £80 per head for a meal none of us could eat.<br>We cannot overstate how bad this was.
Clean and simple, slightly retro atmosphere... exceptional staff, courtesy and cleanliness, superior quality, extremely high-quality lunch with the freshest ingredients. The chef is attentive, precise, and knowledgeable. The wait staff is extremely kind and knowledgeable. We will return as soon as possible. For an extremely high-quality culinary experience, I recommend it to everyone!

A wonderful restaurant that truly deserves to be supported and encouraged. The whole experience feels thoughtful and sincere, with excellent food, beautiful presentation and genuine attention to detail. The cuisine is refined without being pretentious, full of flavour and clearly prepared with care.<br><br>What makes this restaurant even more remarkable is the value for money. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food and the overall experience.<br><br>Places like this bring warmth and character to a city and deserve to thrive. A beautiful discovery in Ventimiglia, and a restaurant I would be very happy to return to and recommend.

Spectacular. I went last year and hadn't written a review, but it was the highlight of my trip. Many thanks to the chef who gave us excellent service, and the food, despite very good competition, was the most delicious we tasted in three weeks.

A top-quality restaurant with impeccable service in a venue that, while well-maintained, doesn't quite deliver what it deserves, especially given the location.<br>The chef expresses his personality even in dishes like the raw fish, where the raw ingredients obviously dominate. Everything we tasted was impeccably executed. A special mention goes to the wine list, which is comprehensive, well-represented, and honestly priced. Truly, congratulations!
