# Maps by Firecrawl

Business search, public reviews, monthly rating trends and directions for driving, walking, cycling and transit.

Every page is available as Markdown: add `.md` to the path (for example `https://maps.firecrawl.dev/search.md?q=pizza+in+San+Francisco`) or send `Accept: text/markdown`. Links in Markdown pages point at other Markdown pages.

- Place: `https://maps.firecrawl.dev/place/<feature_id>.md`. Rating summary, rating by month and the latest reviews. `feature_id` comes from search results (`0x…:0x…`). Add `?q=<query>` from the search that found it to include the business name and address.

## Notes

- Data is sampled when requested: search results are cached for an hour, places for six hours and directions for ten minutes.
- Each visitor gets 120 page views an hour; beyond that pages answer `429`.
- For programmatic access with the same data, use the `firecrawl-maps` provider through the Firecrawl API.
